Miles: 25.9 Steps: 52,868 Elevation Gain: 3,889 feet Another amazing day on the trail! What else is new, right??? People always talk about the trail in PA being super rocky. While it’s true that there are some rock scrambles and rocky sections, the state is also the flattest of the entire trail. So much time is spent on flat ridge lines which is really quite nice! One thing that was kind of a bummer today was a big box full of trash. This trash definitely belonged to hikers. This was definitely not a trash can. Sadly, this has been something I’ve noticed along the whole trail: hikers will fill Any container left on the side of the trail with trash! Booo, hisss... this was something I noticed on my 2007 Southbound thru hike as well... ah us flawed humans! Camped with Devin and talked to him quite a bit at camp. Really nice guy and easy to talk to, love my fellow hikers!
