Miles: 25 Steps: 54,627 Vertical gain: Strava knows! Liquid consumed: 153 oz Wildlife: Birds, squirrels, chipmunks, nothing too out of the ordinary Faith in Humanity: Met a couple really cool guys: Wayne from CO and Idaho was really interested in my trip and great to talk to for a couple minutes. Another guy was super stoked about bow hunting season opening tomorrow. Very cool! Man, I'm kind of bummed. I hurt myself a bit today, then walked on it for quite a while. I did take a long break right after feeling some pain in my lower left shin. I really hope it feels better tomorrow. I'm bailing to Steamboat to take a day off. I hope that helps too! Ahh, scary. It's all good though, positive thoughts! I got this! Beautiful hike today! Mount Zirkel Wilderness is so beautiful and no one is here! Crazy! Big peaks, some walking on snow.i somehow managed to throw away my toothbrush and toothpaste! Oops! Getting overly excited at the sight of a trash receptacle, I suppose. Hard not to!
